It’s been an incredible month for Ashlee Simpson since the birth of her son Bronx Mowgli back on November 20th. And while hosting a New Year’s Eve party at PURE nightclub in Vegas, she wasn’t afraid to let everyone know how much she loves her new son. Speaking with the media, the “Pieces of Me” songstress revealed a very important first for her little guy- “He laughed for the first time. That was pretty exciting.”

Doing her part to boost the economy in 2009, Britney Spears was spotted doing some shopping at Wal-Mart near her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana yesterday (January 1). The “Gimme More” songstress was accompanied by an unidentified man and her bodyguard as she made her way inside the massive superstore, looking dressy and carrying a beverage.

Accompanied by her BFF Brittany Flickinger and sister Nicky , the “Simple Life” babe arrived on the Gold Coast following a flight from Sydney aboard former world motorcycle champion Mick Doohan’s private jet.

Continuing their relaxing Caribbean getaway, Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z were spotted out and about in St. Barts earlier this week (December 31). The “Hard Knock Life” rapper and his “Bootylicious” wife looked to be having a marvelous time as they hung out on a boat, and made their way around town.
