Today is a special day. On June 13, in 1986, two future fashionistas – Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen – entered this world. And I’m glad they did. I can’t imagine the world without Mary-Kate’s hobo chic. She has outgrown that baggy-clothes phase, but continues to do her own thing. Then there’s Ashley, the chic minimalist, anti-accessory. Give her a simple black Calvin Klein dress and killer shoes and she’s golden. Then, of course, there are their fashion lines, The Row and Elizabeth and James.
