Enjoying a break in the action from her on-set duties, actress Hayden Panettiere was spotted shopping in West Hollywood, California on Monday afternoon (November 10). Looking her usual stylish self, the 19-year-old “Heroes” starlet dropped by Urban Carbon, browsing the racks for awhile before leaving the shop empty-handed.

Out for an afternoon workout, pop tart turned country crooner Jessica Simpson was spotted arriving at the gym in West Hollywood on Monday (November 10). The “Do You Know” singer dressed casually in a Cowboys hoodie and track pants, with no sign of her boyfriend, Tony Romo, who flew into Los Angeles last night as he continues to recover from a football-related injury.

Photograph of the Oilers goalie Jeff Drouin-Deslauriers defending against Rangers forward Lauri Korpikoski by Mary Altaffer/AP Edmonton 3 Rangers 2 (Shootout) : Was it bad play or simply the great goaltending of Jeff Deslauriers? Deslauriers stymied the Rangers though the first two periods, turning away 26-of-27 shots, as the Oilers took a 2-1 lead into the third period. But, Chris Drury took care of that less than a minute into the third period. Drury’s goal tied the game at two and while both teams had plenty of chances, the goalies clamped down and kept things at 2-2. It went to a shootout and Henrik Lundqvist got a piece of Ales Hemsky’s shot, but not enough, and it went into the net for the only goal of the shootout

Over this past summer, I had the great fortune of attending and documenting 2 major reggae festivals in Long Beach, California. The Caribbean Summer Festival and the Seabreeze Festival both featured amazing performances by dancehall legends Lady Saw, Shabba Ranks, Sizzla, Junior Reid, Cham, Warrior King, Elephant Man and many more. Recently, I started uploading the video and photos I captured at the 2 events to my youTube and flickr pages. So far, I’ve only managed to edit and upload the photos and video from the CaribSumFest and haven’t gotten to the Seabreeze ones yet. Here’s highlights from the CaribSumFest, with links to see more at the end of this post. I’ll post again when I get the Seabreeze Fest up too. Some of the best parts of seeing these artists live, was the mash-ups they created of their own tunes with mainstream pop artists’ hits. Cham singing his hit tune “Ghetto Story” over music from Eminem’s “Lose Yourself”: Lady Saw ‘translates’ her hit tune “Sycamore Tree” ‘for the yankees’ by singing her own version of Amy Winehouse’s “Rehab”! I couldn’t believe my ears! To see more videos from the 2 festivals, plus concert footage of Ziggy Marley, Michael Franti, Anthony B and Rootz Underground, head over to my video page: MoFireTV videos Photos from the Caribbean Summer Festival 2008: This is a slideshow from flickr, so I hope it works. If not, or if you’d rather see the pix one at a time on flickr, jump over here: Molli Fire Fotos of CaribSumFest on flickr Enjoy! And let me know what you think of those mashups by Cham and Lady Saw!

Let me start by saying that I have met a celebrity or two and been in complete control of my composure. With that said, the complete opposite happened when I came face to face with one of my favorite bands, Nada Surf. The show was on March 19th of this year and had Nada Surf as the headliner with Sea Wolf opening. I had been loving Sea Wolf since first hearing the single You’re a Wolf and was really enjoying the whole album Leaves in the River
