Sabres 2, Devils 0: Some goalies take games off from time to time. Martin Brodeur is not one of those. But he didn’t play for the first time in 57 games Monday, and it may have cost the Devils. Of course, the team didn’t score, so Kevin Weekes can’t take all the blame. The fill-in goalie allowed a late first-period goal and another in the third period. Chris Campoli’s second goal, 3:13 into overtime, averted disaster. Richard Park and Bill Guerin had the other tallies.
