Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen don’t need to be in the same apartment to feel the same fashion vibes. Through the power of twin synergy, both sisters were spotted leaving their own separate cribs wearing fresh Spring scarves. Mary-Kate paired her red houndstooth print scarf – check out that cool European loop – with cuffed leather trousers, oxfords, cat-eye sunnies, and a wool coat. Ashley kept it casual and donned a green scarf with a pair of cuffed boyfriend jeans, leopard flats, an olive tee, round sunnies, and a navy cardi. So tell me: which Olsen wore her Spring scarf better? Which Olsen Wore Her Spring Scarf Better? Mary-Kate; her chic elements are awesome. I prefer Ashley’s casual cool separates.

By the time you read this, I will have bought Nicky Hilton’s Tolani Mosaic Tunic in Pink ($109). It’s just so fresh, feminine – so Rio. Clearly, Nicky digs mosaics . The exotic graphic pattern definitely interests the eye, and comes in poppy colors as well as earth tones. Nicky loaded on nomadic jewelry – check out that blingin’ turquoise ring – a studded belt, and a snakeskin bag for extra style points. I always say I need more prints in my life, so no buyer’s remorse here.

Karl Lagerfeld is a busy man, but he’s found time to team up with Hogan for a one-off Spring 2011 capsule collection. “For Hogan, he [Karl] will reinterpret all the iconic elements in both apparel and accessories, which will help raise Hogan’s visibility in Asia and especially in China,” said Diego Della Valle , longtime friend and CEO of Tod’s SpA, which owns Hogan. The brand will open its first flagship in Shanghai this Fall. Here is a sneak peek of the collaboration – army influences, layers, and crisp jackets abound. What do you think?
